I listened to your advise and have reconstruct the upper shock mounts and turned them 90 degrees. It was kinda tricky because I wanted them adjustable...

Tell me what you think, I may have missed something.
Thanks

Re: John Heard, you think this will work better?
That will certainly keep the top half of the shock from binding when the rear end rotates.
Don't know if you'll have issues with the bottom or not. This would be the style of mount I'd suggest using, but you want to avoid getting the axle tube hot when welding them on, that can warp the rear end. Really I don't know if you'll have any issues with the setup you have, just pointing out what would be ideal.

Thanks for helping me out John!
It was kind of a challenge building those upper mounts from a 1/4" thick L profile with only an angle grinder, Mig/mag welder & drilling machine :) The big issue was that I wanted them adjustable, if I had made fixed mounts it would have been a breeze...
I assume, in a perfect world the lower eyes should have been 90 degrees from what I have now aswell, but the Caltracs plates are made to have the shocks like I have now so I guess it will work. Now, when the upper mounts wont bind when the axle rotate I guess that would help the whole shock from binding, but I dont know, maybe Im wrong.
I've seen those mounts but I dont want to weld the axle tubes because its just coming from the jig and have been straightened. I know what a little heat can do with those rearends :)
