Texas 275, or True Ten5
Is a 10 pt roll cage legal in these classes? 5.2 et in the 1/8 @135mph.

That would depend on the track. Are they IHRA or NHRA sanctioned? If it's an outlaw track you'd probably get away with it, but not likely a NHRA track unless the owner's not being picky. Many tracks can't afford to turn away cars because of that rule.
By the rule books, NO, you need 25.5 or better to run that ET. I think the cut-off is 5.35, MPH doesn't matter (but it should).
I know, it's friggin nuts that same cage can go 150 mph in the 1/4 and it's considered safe, but not 135 in the 1/8th.

Yea, that is kind of a strang way they do that. I will try and contact the track before I travel.

Careful of the he said / she said crap, email them, if they say it's ok, print it out and take it with you so there's no questions. Nothing worse than towing hundreds of miles to be told you can't run.Roger Blackmore wrote: Thankyou,
