To much traction =( "Dead Hook" ) is a bad thing with a clutch car.raffaplymouth wrote: sorry i dont understand 2-3 turn then hook ??? i dont understand
You will need some tire spin = ( "Wheel Speed" ) to get the car moving.
Your car had to much wheel speed at your last track test.
As you make changes things will improve. What we do NOT want is to much traction = broken parts.
This vid shows slo-mo wheel speed at launch...All these car leave with a clutch.

Did you see the tires spin just a little, 2-3 turns/revolutions, then start to grab/hook the track.
All these Pro racers also have an adjustable clutch so that as the tires hook up with the track the clutch will slip while the engine rpm is tring to match the transmission/driveshaft rpm.
Since you do not have an adjustable clutch (yet) you may need to spin the tires just a little longer.
An automatic car can dead hook because the torque conveter allows the slip needed the get the car moving.
