Rear shock setting on a leaf spring nova

#1 Post by luv454 » Tue Apr 15, 2014 11:21 am

I seem to be having trouble getting my car to hook. My shocks are the strange 10 way single adjustable. I have them on about 7 clicks tight. I noticed from a pic that my son took that the body doesn't appear to be separating. I footbrake the car my question is should the shocks be tight or loose to get the tires to hook?

thanks,

Typically you would loosen the shock extension for more bite. Just watch for having them too loose and running out of travel.

Video is a big help.
