Trailer brakes
Just hooked up my trailer brakes on my 18 dove tail. Only one axle. Whats the rules or suggestions on the brake setting. Empty, full etc.. Just enough to feel? All its got? What you guys think.... Thanks men, Luis.

The rule of thumb is to cruise at about 25mph and use your manual slide and adjust till you feel a good tug. You obviously don't want the tires to lock up, also you will have to change the setting when it's empty. When my trailer is empty I have it set to the minimum. It is all in personal preference. I like a good tug on my trailer brakes when I am pulling the car so I am not so hard on the truck brakes. Just my $0.02.
