ford explorer
Do you think I can tow a 55 chevy 3500 with a 2000 ford explorer?
My car is not as fast as I think it is.
Re: ford explorer
You can tow it but..... can you stop it. Thats the real problem
Re: ford explorer
I have to agree with sc. You would need GOOD brakes on both axles of the trailer to stop that thing in an emergency. But I would be crazy enough to try it.sc racing wrote:You can tow it but..... can you stop it. Thats the real problem

U-haul or Penske probably will take you money I think they use a hydraulic master cyl mounted on the trailer so the truck doesnt need a brake box. Be safe and keep a lot of space betrween you and the guy in front.
Re: ford explorer
They may ask you what you are pulling it behind, so be prepared to lie.
