"No I won't be buying a spare, but I will have my spare power master 16v battery in the trailor with cables for those just in case times. For you guys that have never ran a 16v battery you really need to try one!"

What's the benefit to 16V?

Keeps the voltage up with cars with higher electrical demands that don't run an alternator.

Typically most people see positive results, better cranking, more stable voltage during a pass. You'll also likely notice the engine sounds "crisper".

You might think im bullshitting you, but we run a Farm & Fleet 12 volt, 950 cca, its been in the car seven years never had a problem, we charge it once per race day. When it was injected alcohol at 14.5 to 1 it started fine, and now with the blower and 11.5 to 1 it starts even easier, and thats at 572".

Its heavy, at around 55lbs, but I add ballast anyways, so rear weight isnt a problem.
'63 Plymouth, Straight axle, Leaf springs, Drum brakes, 31x10.5wx15 Rears 3215lbs
Best time to date 7.99 @ 170 mph
572" Wedge 8-71 @ 28% OD, ALKY, Glide, Dana
