Tube Bandit is a unique patent pending system for real time measurement of bend angle on JD Squared Model 3 and Pro Tools 105 & 105HD benders. This is very cool. Couple this with the Bend Tech software and it's almost like having a CNC bender.

Very neat product. I have a tubing bender and one of these readouts on my Xmas wish list!

Thanks! I agree - Bend Tech is great software. I was part of the beta testing group for Pro and got to inspire a lot of the features in the software. Cris, the guy that develops it, is top notch.

Yes I have a S & W cage in mine, but it's coming out. It's time to move up to 25.3 so I've got to start all over again. Also it's an opportunity to redo some things that I've been wanting to do chassis wise.

I don't currently have a bender, it's certainly on my wish list, along with a TIG, sheet metal brake, tubing notcher... well you know LOL..

Question ......Does it allow for "spring back"????

You can offset the displayed angle for springback. For example, if you've determined your tubing springs back 4.5 degrees, you can start Tube Bandit at -4.5degrees when the tube is initially loaded in the bender.

Tube Bandit will not measure or automatically compensate for springback. This is a problem even for $100k CNC benders. Unfortunately springback varies from tube to tube, even for the same size and material. To determine springback, you can bend to a known deflection angle (measured by Tube Bandit), remove the tubing from the bender, then measure the tube after it has sprung back. The difference in angle is the springback angle.
