For racing applications the Amsoil "Severe Gear" line is the lube to choose. The line has recently been upgraded as well to give even better wear protection and performance to an already outstanding gear oil. The other thing is to decide what weight of gear oil to use. Sever Gear comes in 75w-90, 75w-110, and 75w-140. The way to decide is what your bottom line goal is. Are you looking to squeeze every last possible ounce of power out the car for better or Et's at the possible expense of long term reliability? Then use the lighter 75w-90. If you are looking for better wear protection? Use the 75w-140. There is also a Severe Gear 190 & 250 but I think that their use is better suited to lower RPM applications like Rock Crawling and such. My personal recommendation would be to use the 75w-140 Sever gear. You can look at it here http://www.superiorperformance.net/racinggearlube.html
If you are having issues with wear and you are not currently using Severe Gear, then I would go with the 75w-140.

Thanks,, I was leaning toward the 75/110 kind of middle of the road...
