What do you use to clean up slicks?

I don't know if they make it anymore or not but I used to buy a product called Spray Nine which was a very good cleaner.

Would Simple Green work if I can't find Spray Nine?

After they are clean, do you treat them with anything?

Wesley's Bleach White is the best tire cleaner I've ever used. I don't typically coat mine with anything, once in a great while I might armor all the sidewalls if we're feeling extra blingy..

I didn't know if they recommend using Armor All on the side walls, but I guess if it's not on the tread, it should be ok, right?

Getting it on the tread would not be a good idea

I just spray some on a rag and put a light coat on.
