fiberglass body in the street?

anyone running a fiberglass body in the street? Is this even do-able or it should be just for race car?

I had a friend with a fiberglass front end on his 56 Chevy and he hated it. He said it just shook too much and wasn't very sturdy.
Maybe with the proper bracing and support, a fiberglass body would be ok.
Those who think they know it all have no way of finding out they don't......... :scratch:

Yeah, they're called Corvettes and Cobra kit cars. Lots of the street rods you see at car shows are fiberglass replicas. There's different levels of fiberglass and can probably be made to suit your needs. I wouldn't go looking for something labeled as "race weight" as it will probably be minimum thickness.
