Blower Re-Stripping

#1 Post by CoMax Racing » Fri Sep 15, 2006 4:09 pm

Has anybody come across any good articles about blower restripping,(procedure wise). I want to do mine and I can't see it being that difficult. I could just send it to Littlefield(where I got it), but I'm from Canada and shipping it up to him will be a bit expensive.

Any info will be great
Thanks

it is just time consuming not hard.. mark the rear gears in 3 places 9-3-6 as they are helic cut gears they rotate when you pull them this will save much time on re- installing them. the strips are held in by the edges being pined on the ends, measure the width of the strip call 714 992 9292 they offer diffrent types. alch gas and such order a seal kit at the same time and replace the end gaskets and seals yse a small file on the ends where it was pined wear gloves use oil to aid in sliding the strips in spray with wd 40,turn over sevral times to make sure its seated.
make a plan and stick to it !!
