I was wondering if anybody knows anything about the Pro Form replacement mainbody. Would it be a good upgrade in a brackett racing application. It says about a 30 hp increase but would be more consistant, a little less weather sensitive than stock.Does anybody have any sucsess with vacume operated secondaries. Thanks

I had one of those pro-form main bodys a few years ago, didn't see anything wrong with it. It worked fine. I would question the 30 hp increase, but it's a good replacement casting.

Ive had great luck with them for street use but for all out power and throttle response mech secindary double pumper is the way to go. Unfortunatly holleys 0-3310 750 id one of the worst carbs they ever made somewhere in a magazine artical they tested about 12 carbs on a dyno mule motor everything from 390-950 cfm vacuum and mech the 390 made the least because it was so small but the 3310 was not far behind they said it was the worst one of all the carbs they tested. IMO dont waste your $ trying to get that one to work.
As for the progorm body we used it before and I agree with John it works but 30HP? if it was that easy we would all buy one.
