They are an all out race head with valves that are angled 2 different ways.Your conventional sbc head has valves angled 23* toward your intake side of the head, canted valve are also angled toward the front(or back ) of the motor as well as toward the intake. They have spread ports which allows much bigger runners for more air flow (more flow = more HP)and they cost big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ .

What kinda setup are you running???? How much RPM are you spinnig ? If you would rather reply in PMs, I can hold a secret.

I only want to know becuase my friend and I constantly argue over whether that big of a head work on a small block. He went out like a retard and bought some Performer RPM (190cc intake) knockoffs for his 14:1 406. I thought that a 225+ head would work alot better. All he talks about is velocity, which is a strong point, but his engine is gonna have an asthma attack. We will see how well they work compared to his old 461s.

Anyone ever work with Little Chief heads?

His car slowed down this last Friday, but the weather was horrible. My car slowed down due to the weather. Either way, he should have picked up something. He only went 128 MPH, he wouldnt tell me what his ET was, but we all know how little power it takes to go 128 MPH in the 1/4 with 2600 lbs.
