Jesel or T&D
Who makes a better shaft rocker system for small block chevs? I've heard about the Jesels having problems with the needle bearings on the shaft pivot.

I would go for the T&D's. They have pressure fed needle bearings and you can also get a spring oiler option that i would highly recommend.

Re: Jesel or T&D
So how do the Jesel's get oil to the needle bearings?
Re: Jesel or T&D
I think I found the answer to my "The shaft bearings are fully lubricated from JESEL and only require splash lubrication once running." Is this not how most roller rockers are lubed. I'm not disagreeing with you, just curious.

Yep Jesels just rely on splash. Just on personal experence we have seen less bearing and shaft trouble with the T&D's. It might not be as critical on drag racing stuff, although drag stuff tends to run more spring pressure, but on dirt latemodels and sprints we really like the pressure fed needles and spring oilers. We sell both and use both I just think for the money T&D's are a better choise.

The T and D's can be gun drilled to the trunion area to feed the tip of the valve or lower to act as a spring sprayer. They are so much more flexible because of that oiling. Protects the pushrod tip too.

Well, I went ahead and ordered the T&D rocker system today. Thanks everybody for the help.

I totally agree with the T&D rockers for the same reason. I also like the larger shaft.
