Motor Plates ?

#1 Post by Hitchcock » Wed Nov 25, 2009 3:56 pm

If your going to run a motor plate set up, do you have to use the front and rear? Or can you use one or the other with regular mounts?

You can run one or the other with the stock mounts. I run all 3 to be able to prove the motor is in the stock location and support.

I take it stock location is a class rule.

On a normal setup, the rear plate takes all the load, the front one just holds up the motor.

I see no reason you couldnt use the rear one with a set of std side mounts. "As long as they were solid"
