Reading E85 spark plugs.. Different from gas?

I like to read my plugs when I'm at the track. I am assuming you would read E85 plugs the same way you would with a gas plug, except for the cleanliness of the E85 plug? I would assume you could not read the E85 plug for rich/lean fuel conditions like you can a gas plug.

So basically read for heat range and detonation only? Use the wideband for knowing where you are as far as fueling goes and use ET/mph to determine if you need more/less fuel?

I really couldn't read my plugs when I switched. They were always white. This year I have an egt so I will be using that.
