Vortec heads with carb

#1 Post by JES » Sun Jan 01, 2012 1:14 pm

I would like to run vortec heads on a 383 in my 72 3/4ton 4x4 with camper. But I am conserned that with out a heat cross over it may not work well. Your thoughts?

Thanks

Like Chris say, the heat crossover is not an issue - in fact, I think it was originally intended to provide a heat source for the choke assembly coil on stock carbs...
