750 holley carb problem!

Went to start engine, turned fuel pump on and fuel went to running out of vent tube? Feul pressure is at 8lbs was running fine Sunday when I started car, Is float stuck or power valve busted ? Any HELP would be greatly appreacated!

My money is on the float. Do you have fuel filters in your system? A tiny spec of anything on the needle will cause what you are describing...ask me how I know :roll:

Floats and needle valves will sometimes stick if it's been sitting for awhile. Rap on the float bowls with a screwdriver handle - that will sometimes free them up. As a last resort you'll need to pull the flow bowls to check the needle valves are freed up.

Few things, stuck N&S or trash hanging it open, float absorbing fuel, and occasionally the o-ring on the N&S will leak, but usually not enough to cause that issue. Also, no reason to use that much fuel pressure in a gas carb, my race engine is set to 6 psi.
