Hi,
I took a compression test of my engine (cold) it ranged from 185 - 210.
Does this seemed ok or is it showing a potential problem.
Thanks

Re: Engine compression
It is a bit more of a spread then I would like, but it was cold. you could spray a little oil in the lower cylinders and see if they pick up. I'm going to go out on a limb and say there probably isn't anything wrong with it.

Re: Engine compression
That is a bit more of a spread than I'd expect to see. Go run the valves and make sure you've got them all adjusted correctly, charge battery and run it again. See if you don't see an improvement.
There are things that sometimes will make a difference, spot of carbon on a valve, stuff like that, but that range is more than I'd want to see really.

Thanks for the input I too thought the spread was a little to much.
I'm going to check the valve lash and redo the test.
