Engine prep for winter

#1 Post by CherryBombZ28 » Fri Jun 16, 2017 9:49 pm

I live in Canada and the winters get pretty cold and I just bought a racecar. I don't have a garage nor do I have access to heated storage. What do you suggest I do to prepare it for winter?

Just prep it like your every day car. Drain the water and put a good anti freeze in it. You can pull the plugs and spray some fogging spray in it. If you really want to go nuts, you can back off the open valves so they are all closed, put a bag over the carb, jack the car up and put it on jackstands.

I use only 100% gas with correct mix of Seafoam to stabilize my fuel, & make sure to run it long enough to get the 'mix' fully tru the system..
