Spark Plug gaping

#1 Post by BGMAN203 » Sun Oct 29, 2006 10:37 pm

I run a 6AL Box, and the instructions call for like .050 gap. I have always been hesitant to gap them that large. I have them in presently gapped at .040. Do you think my performance might get better with the wider gaping?

No. I might add that if you are using a power adder you may find that decreasing the gap will be worthwhile.

I am thinking about a 100-150 shot of juice. Would you run the gap tighter? or leave it @ .040?
