402 SBF Dart/Cleveland, need advice

#1 Post by blownhorse » Thu Nov 09, 2006 11:53 am

Building an 800hp blown engine for a 73' mustang. Using a 4.125 bore Dart block with a 9.2 deck ht. and Cleveland mains. The crank is a forged 3.75 stroke with 6.00 forged rods and forged custom pistons. The heads are Air Flow dynamic (AFD) aluminum 4v cleveland type with 2.192 intake and 1.74 exhaust. The blower is a BDS large bore 671. Has anyone had any experience with Ford Performance Solutions (Anaheim, Ca.) as an engine builder? Anyone have any experience with AFD (Australian) aluminum heads? Any advice on this engine combination? Any help is appreciated.
