Well the new tune up made some power! Ran a 9.393 @ 144, tire smokin 1.40 60' , spun through 1st. For the 1st time ever since fixin' up the old slapper bar suspension had a traction problem. Slicks are old and it bent the hell out of both the bars on the launch, so with some simple changes, there's hope for a low 1.3 60' again, I think.

Great, glad to hear the tune up worked out ok and nothing broken. Nice vids too. Looks like the incar mount needs some rubber or something to soften it up a little.

Are you putting cal-trac's on it next?

Maybe, but would they help?????? Fresh slicks I think will do the trick. AND- Lakewood is gonna make me an unbreakable set of slappers.

About everyone runs the cal-tracs anymore, but if you can get it to 60' in the 1.30's with the bars might want to stick with what is working. Who knows, maybe you can be the new poster boy for Lakewood
