New best pass

#1 Post by John_Heard » Sun Nov 06, 2005 9:34 pm

Got to do some testing today. New best pass 9.09@150.25, 1.41 60',5.85 660'@121.75. Would have been well into the 8's if I hadn't shifted a bit late on both the 1-2 and 2-3, which resulted in restarting the controller because it triggered the rpm window switch. So I basically restarted the controller on both shifts.

Very cool launch, boy was that fun. Pulled the wheels up about 2 foot and carried them out quite aways and set them down real easy. I'm pumped!! Very long day but made a lot of progress.

I'm sold on this progressive stuff!!

More than likely the problem area is at the front of the car. Tell us about how you have your front end setup. Shocks, how much travel, etc. There are a lot of little things that have to work and be timed just right to make a car with small tires hook.

Might want to start a new thread on that over in the Suspension forum so others will see it too and comment.
