Ive been checking my fuel pressure before every pass and it changes as often as the wind. Im using a holley like the ones that come with a holley blue.
I have a dedicated fuel system for nitrous. The way I check free flowing fuel is I have a extra big shot plate and I throw it in a bucket with the fuel jet installed, turn on the pump and activate the system. From the time I turn on the pump and activate, the pressure creeps up to about 10 lbs. After activation it takes about 2 seconds to settle on the correct pressure. (5.5 lbs). I only run 1/8th mile so my initial hit and 60 ft could be suffering due to a rich condition.
Im not running a return line to my fuel cell. Is that the problem? Can you guys recommend a regulator that stays constant through out the pass?
thanks, Tony
