using nitrous with alky

#1 Post by rustbucket » Sun May 04, 2008 10:10 pm

im installing a tunnel ram and 2 flying toilets on my car this week. as for nitrous is there anything different than running the motor on race gas? i have a dedicated fuel system up front already. Ive been running a big shot plate and now im gonna get 2 cheater plates so i can jet each one down to about 125 horse each. Anybody know of any problems running this set up? I know a fogger would be better but cant afford it right now.

I have 2 big shot plates i would trade for 2 cheater plates if anybody wants to.
thanks, tony

The big shot and cheater plates are the same, the difference is the solenoids. There is a difference in plates as far as the number and size of the holes in the spray bars from the older to newer set ups.

nos says a bigshot cant be jetted below 175 for proper distribution. A cheater can go as low as 125, i assumes there was a differance in the spray bars.
