Hey John...how much nitrous

#1 Post by Bob West » Sun Dec 25, 2005 10:19 pm

How much nitrous can a BBC handle with GM rods and a GM cast crank? Do you think it will handle a 150-200 shot shifting at 6k? Its not my current motor, its my old motor that was just freshened almost a year ago. thanks

I wouldn't be afraid to try that on a stock motor, however I'd probably have second thoughts going over 200 on cast pistons though.

It does have forged TRW's in it, so it ought to hold up. My son is putting it in a Malibu he just traded for(at least this one has a rollbar) and he's coming after dad, yet dad has a couple upgrades coming too
