That depends on what fuel jet you run. If you're running the 130's x 2, 8 psi would be a bit lean to start at, you might want to try 10 psi then start leaning it out. It wouldn't make sense for you to use what I'm doing as I'm taking a bunch of extra timing out on mine while we're running on the 1st stage and then ramping it back in.

Ya I was thinking about that too, I only have a Digital 6 box with a single of stage retard, so i pretty much have to set it to pull the most timing i'll need to pull rate off the bat. As far as Jets go they sent me the equivelent too a 100 shot.(they said) just to get the tune up right. Nitrous is 1, 200 jet Fuel is 2, 80 jets. Which is supposed to equil a 160, because they go by flow instead of hole size??? Is this true as far as your flow tests? If this is true they all ready have me set up to run about 20% richer by the jets alone, so maybe i'll leave the fuel pressure as planned untill i get some real passes on it. The 200 jet is about .051 dia, the 80's are .032, at 8 psi which is about a 100 shot. You're going to be about 5.43:1 assuming everything flows what it should. That's a decent place to start, but it should be on the fat side but at that HP level not a problem. Start there then make adjustments to fuel and timing depending on what the plugs look like.

Real hard to say one way or the other on making more HP, I would say at that level (160-200hp) it's close - too hard to tell exactly how much difference without doing this on a dyno and back to back testing. I think at higher levels it's going to be an improvement.

Air flow - I assume it's hurting air flow some as compared to nothing sticking down in the plenum just based on common sense, but I don't know how much? I haven't done a N/A pass with/without the plate hanging down in there. Since it ran real close to the big shot plate on less nitrous, it appears its not hurting air flow real bad anyway.

I was able to see it, looks good. Sure ought to solve any distribution issues a plate would have.

Ya does look like a big plug in the middle of the air stream, but my main concern is max performance while on the spray. I'm sure it'll hinder optimal flow, but to what degree i'll have to wait and see. The intake is a wilson manifolds ported Victor, so i'm sure there will be enough air getting around the plate to feed the motor, and not restrict it

I wouldn't be surprised if the plate hurts N/A performance a little bit, but in my case I don't care about that. We're gonna spray the snot out of it next year and see what it does.
