Thanks guys. The log comes with 10an port sizes throughout. One in one out and 2 or 3 on the top depending on wheater you buy the 2 or 3 port log. (I have a new two port for sale that I didnt use) Theres not enough room to turn the regulaters. The only way you could get them on there with out the couplers like I have is if your regulators were o ring seal instead on NPT. Then you would just use the male oring coupler. You do need one of those for btween the bypass and log. The black fitting in the pic. This is the magnafuel part number (665-mp-3011)for that fitting but its like 40 bucks. Just tell jegs you want the jegs brand one just like it, its about half that price. Then in my case I just used a 10an oring fitting in the inlet and 10-8an oring fittings in the top so my 8an couplers would connect to the 8an fitting in my regulators. And john I havent shimed the spring in the regulator yet I can get about 20lbs with out doing that. About how much shim do you think I need or do you think 20lbs will work in my aplication? Sam

Oh and youll need the two 6an oring plugs for the outlets on the bypass. Blue fittings on the side of the bypass in the pic. The 8an oring fitting on the bottom for the return and one 1/8 inch pipe plug should do it.

I think that's a little light, I'd like to see it a little higher if you can get it there without much problem. I'm really not sure how low you can go, guess it depends on your fuel requirements and tune up pressures. It's absolutely got to be higher than what you have the nitrous and carb regulators set at by a good bit to cover any dips in pressure that might occur. I have mine set at 29psi and it works great so far I guess.. Thanks for the part number, and very detailed description. I ordered all my fittings and that two port log (i'd of bought yours had i known) plus the -4 hose and fittings for the nitrous fuel solenoid bleed. Still like 400 bucks when all said and done, so a 40 dollar fitting isn't going to blow the budget now!! I'm going to take my regulator apart on the weekend and shim it as well. If you wouldn'y mind let me know what thinkness you put it, and how it affects the max pressure. Thanks for all the help guys, I love this no b/s forum!~

No problem glad I could help. I actually havent shimed my regulator yet. If you get yours done before me let me know how it went and what you used to do it. I plan to shim mine I just may not do it till next week sometime. Ive got other things Im working on right now. Sam

Well it actually got above sub zero tempatures today so i spent a lil time in the garage, and opened up the Aeromotive regulator to shim it. The only 1/2 inch washers i had were just the right diameter to cover the spring while it was unsprung. I was worried it might fall inside if i had to crank down the adjustment bolt. So I dug up a 1/2 puch penny(aka knock out filler), from my electrical goodies, and found the answer. Check it out If i cant adjust it enough i can just add a washer or two between the pushpenny and original spring holder.

A little update, got some more fittings in, and plummed up my fuel tank. It's set up to run the Aeromotive Elimanator pump, but since an A1000 can supply probably double what i needed, I just installed a step down fitting for now. Rick's did an awsome job on this custom tank for me, what do you guys think?

Thanks wicked, I know it's no 8-71 poppin through the hood, but i won't run out of fuel! My worst fear when the nitrous is on, I want rock solid fuel pressures!

that is a awesome set up great work you have done there. now i am jealous grrrr now my fuel system looks like it was built in the 50's lol. i like that log set up you got. ok i have to stop looking or i will put my car apart again and redo my fuel system and i will never finsh it. so i am closing my eye's

I just finished shiming my regulator. I put about .100 thick washer in it and I am up to the pressure I want with some ajustability left.
