Question for Craig W.
I need some help with my Cometic nitrous controller. Just installed the unit in my car and can't get it to work. I have wired as the instructions say. I can't get the system to fire the solenoids. I even started the car and tried to run the system but it still wouldn't work. When i open the program for real time display it shows that the system is armed a ready. Also i set it up to manual purge and the program shows when i hit the purge but the solenoid won't open. I know it's hard to tell not looking at it but I was just wondering what I'm missing. I'm sure it's something simple and thanks for your time.
Re: Question for Craig W.
I have the same unit. If you have it set up for a single nitrous system and not using both sides of the controller. There are settings that have to be set right before it will work. I had to read the instructions twice to find the info that told me how to set it up to work. Without the right setting it will not work. So my advice is read the instructions carefuly, that's what I had to do.......

Re: Question for Craig W.
Thanks for the reply I reread the instructions last night and it seems I'm still missing something. Maybe my wiring is not right. Tell me do you have to have the status led hooked up or the gpio hooked up. I have the gpio turned off. Also will the system work if the car is off. I have the minimum rpm set to 0. I also don't have the the vss hooked up. Also I have it hooked up for 1 system, Im going to put 2 on it later. Thanks for any help
Re: Question for Craig W.
I have mine wired like on page 2 minus the stage 2 option. I do no have the status led wired and I have a wide open throttle switch. I do not have a vss or a rpm signal.
I have to have someone hold the w.o.t.s. when I test fire the unit.
All I have to have is the current to the controller on to test it.
You may have to go back over everything to find the issue........

Re: Question for Craig W.
I double checked my wiring and it was all right. So I reloaded the program in the comtroller again. I also read were it said to turn the ignition on and off several times. I don't know if that did anything but I push the WOT swich and the dang thing started working.

Re: Question for Craig W.
I'm sure Craig won't mind. He's just the only person I knew with one. Once again thanks once I use the unit I may shoot you some more questions
Re: Question for Craig W.
Glad you got it working. Sorry I didn't reply. I'm in Florida for the week and just now got internet access. Been at a church the first part of the week helping work on low income houses with teenagers. Now we're playing at Cocoa Beach.
