Nitrous Tuning

#1 Post by supernova » Mon Jun 28, 2010 6:01 am

I was wondering what everyony is running for systems and the tune on that system.

Approx. HP rating
Jet spread
Pill sizes
Fuel pressure
What controllor, progressive or not
progressive set up

Thing like that.

I know this info will be all over the board. I was just wondering how the rest of the world uses their nitrous.....

HP--450-500 Fogger
Jets- 42 fuel 42 nitrous
Total Timing-- 17 BTDC
C-16 Fuel
Progressive Controller NOS brand
Settings depend on track. anything from 75% off the line down to 40% with 2 second delay off the line. Time to 100% is usually .5-1.5 seconds.

2nd stage 150 hp plate
Jets-- 59fuel 63 nitrous
timing-- remove 2 more degrees so 15 BTDC with both stages going
no controller. Its just on a timer

Sorry, 6.5 psi nitrous fuel pressure both systems flowing.
And we don't watch bottle pressure to much since we are in a street drive class .Not much we can do if it's to high at the end of the cruise. Becuse you only get 30-45 min of cooldown. We have 2 15 lb. bottles in the trunk to last 3 back to back runs.
