Nitrous cam????

#1 Post by 1320quick » Tue Feb 06, 2007 3:08 pm

Hey guys, I'm trying to decide if I need to swap the cam in my 540ci BBC for nitrous use. Here are the specs:

Gross valve lift intake - .785
Gross valve lift exhaust - .778
Duration at .050 intake - 279
Duration at .050 exhaust - 288
Lobe Separation - 112.0

I've been using this cam with an adj plate system and I'd like to upgrade to a fogger. Want to know if I'd have better results with a different cam or if this one will work ok.

As always, thanks for your input.
