push pull disconnect switch question.

i am wondering which push pull battery disconnect switch i should use , i have a ford mustang with a 140 amp alternator im looking to buy one but there are so many to choose from , need help on choosing the right one thank you . [becky] :wink:
mike , 1970 road runner 451 cu in indy 440-1 cyl heads, solid roller cam,T&D rockers 11.12 at 120 mph on motor.

i have the flaming river push pull comes with rod ,handel and all hardware

I've got the Moroso #74100 disconnect switch mounted on the rear panel between the tail lights. Works just fine. And you could add the push/pull option #74105, if you want.

I used the Flaming river one also with the push/pull option, and just because I didn't want to cut or drill in the body, I mounted it so it runs through the pass taillight.

http://www.colehersee.com/ is the manufacturer of most of these switches I believe.

I cornered myself with that one. I had to run #8 awg wire from the alternator output to the battery side of the switch. this way you don't kill the alternator by removing the load, and kills the car too.
