mallory/msd box die

I have a mallory box on my firewall. I have talked to people who have had their box die. Does this happen alot? Will mounting it inside help?

I ran my Mallory box on my inner fender for two years, moved it to the firewall this winter. Its still kickin.

No problem , as long as the box is kept dry & away from excessive heat you'll be fine.

prob best to buy the cheap anti-vibration pedestals or somehow mount rubber between it and car
