#1 Post by bbc68nova » Fri May 05, 2006 11:45 am

i got a ?
i have wiring out of a 73 nova
that they cut some of the wires when they pulled the motor.

out of the firewall their is 14g green wire that has a male plug that plugs into a looks like some kind of relay, and 10g brown that also comes out of the firewall that hooks to a post underneath this relay there is also a 10g red wire that assume went to the alt.(but was cut off)that hook to this post to
is this the power wires that feed the fuse box
and is their a wire that comes out of the fire wall that hooks to the starter
what color wood it be or what gauge
ive got most of these wires track down but a couple
just tring to get this lined out for the starter and alt.
thanks luke

The relay is probably a horn relay if it is the one on the radiator support. Sorry don't remember what color the starter wire is. Might just have to get a meter out and start testing to see which one it is.
