I am thinking of getting a shorter ( smaller front tire )
Anyone have a idea of how much quicker a shorter tire reacts - per inch
so if you go from a 28 in tall tire to 27 how much quicker the car will react because of the shoter tire
if you went from a 28 in tall to 26 that kinda thing - - what do you guys think
how Much quicker are smaller front tires ?

well im not really worried about roll out or red lighting i am tring to get the car to break the beams fastersixpackmotorsports wrote:you may redlight more often, the smaller tire will also be slower to trip the lights in the traps.
i went from a 28 in tall tire to a 26 in tall tire i only have 2 runs on them so far but they seem to be about .020 + quicker but this weekend will be the REAL test

I run super street now and have been tying to race super gas - but cant get my car to break the beams fast enough to race a .400 pro treerace9899 wrote:What kind of racing are you doing?? Index or Heads up?
how your car gets the tires out of the lights will have a big impact on how much benefit the tires are, I have seen guys go from 26" to 23" on a Super Gas car and not pick up much more than .010
