#1 Post by bob brun » Mon May 05, 2008 10:16 pm

I went to the drag races last weekend. I notced my 60' times were really week. I have a 69 nova with 4:30 gaers 26'' tires with 3500 stall .The engine is a 433 big block. It runs good up to 7000 rpm's I am thinking cam might be to big.It is a 270 at 50 ,with 714 lift ranges from 4200to7800. no nitrous

I had a 268*/270*@.050 with .670 lift in a 454 with the same heads and 12.5:1 and a Victor intake.I used a 4200 stall with 4.10 gear and 29.5" tire .It seemed to run good I shifted right at 7000.Your combo is about the same only a little less cubes
