Gear Vendors Overdrive - Anybody ever used one at the track?

#1 Post by Canadian Guy » Wed Sep 10, 2008 7:50 am

I am thinking about putting a Gear Vendors overdrive unit on my TH400 and changing my rear end gears to match so I can run faster at the track with it and drive it on the highway on the street. Are these things up to that task as they say on there website? Does anyone have one or know someone who does and how well do they perform? :-)

Here is a link to there website.

I have one on my 55 chevy street car. It works pretty slick, have tried it at the track but wasnt able to split the 1-2 shift, you need the controler to do it. Im thinking of switching it over to my nova and just using the od feature to run a 5.00 gear.
