wheel weight

#1 Post by jaspermaggie » Sun Sep 28, 2008 12:04 am

I run the old style rally wheel 15x7 and 15x6. What is the weight and would I benefit from a lighter street strip wheel. the car is around 3700 400hp plus 100 nitrous.
My car is not as fast as I think it is.

Not sure about the weight, and it's debateable if you would see it on the ET Slip with the change. You will hear some people have removed weight and not gained, while others have. I can tell you that there is no doubt eventually you will start to make gains when reducing weight, especially rotating weight. Not every car will show it with 20 lbs/50 lbs here and there, but they all do at some point if you keep reducing it.
