Hey I think I may go to a 10" rim in the off season. I know you told me in another thread you are running 5.5"BS on your nova. What are your tire specs, such as section width and all? I want to make sure everything will fit. I currently run a MT ET Drag 28/9/15.

Also, I noticed on your webpage you have your caltracs in the bottom hole. I have mine in the top which I think makes it hit the tire harder. Have you tried it in both places? How much difference have you seen?

The 10" rim only works on my car because of the small tire. They are 26x8.5. Section width is 11-1/16" on the 10" rim. This section width would hit the quarter panel if they were a 28" tires.

I haven't tried the top hole on the Caltracs in quite some time. I did years ago when I first installed them and found the bottom hole worked better for me. I have to take away a lot of power to hook on the little tires, so I've never felt it would help to hit the tires any harder than what I can do with shock adjustments.

28x9s fit well on my car on 8" rims with 4.5" of backspacing.

If you want pictures, I can snap some while the car is up on the lift for the gear swap (ate up the ring gear last weekend).

If you can take some pictures that would be awesome...maybe I will go to the 8.5s too.

I've got a set of 8.5s for sale. They've got 19 runs on them. Still hooked fine the last time I ran them.

$150 if you're interested.

I may take you up on that Craig. I got something a guy is supposed to be buying from me this week, the check is in the mail, so as long as that goes through and you still have them I may do that. Do you know how much to ship them to 22560?

Is that for both or each? As soon as I get the check I will let you know. You don't know anyone with 15x10 Weld Prostars with 5.5 BS do you?

That's for both tires.

The tires are still on the rims. I might sell the rims too and just leave them all mounted. There are drag tubes in them, which are pretty pricey. If I decide to sell rims, tires and tubes, I'd need $225 for the rims and $125 for the tubes. Shipping would go up a little too. So that would be $500 + about $35 shipping.

I've been thinking about changing the look of the car. Not sure if I want to or not.

Yes, the tires are screwed to the rims.

I'll get you some pictures.
