Went racing again and did a little better made it thru 2 rounds then I got beat because I missed my number,I dialed a 7.02 and went 7.09 my competitor ran a 7.29 on a 7.25 dial and his reaction was .1127 and mine was a .1188 but it was a good race I just need more practice.I also went to a different track I went to springer ok. this time, not as many cars as northstar in sanger tx.I've got to go to a friends wedding this weekend so I'll go racing again next weekend.Good luck to you all and thanks again!

Thats awesome ,I'm not there yet and may never get that kind of reaction time.I'll keep trying but I will admit it's very frustrating..Maybe if I put a big GO on the door and went in circles I would be more consistent.lol.Thats a good looking fast camaro and you obviously have a good shoe stomping the gas pedal.Good luck and keep me posted. Well to be honest he has got quite a few years chopping that tree! He ran Jr.Dragsters for 5 years and picked it up very quick winning a few wally's and a bunch of gold crown races so at 16 he is seasoned.
He makes me look stupid on the lights. :nutkick:

Speedster y'all race at woodburn ?I won the track championship in modifieds at willamette speedway in lebanon a couple years in 91/92 and I'm still the all time feature winner in mods at riverside speedway in cottage grove and have'nt raced there since 95.I wished I could say the same thing about this drag racing ,lol, but I don't have 40 years to practice this gig so I'll just keep practicing and just enjoy the challenge and man what a challenge.I sure admire the drivers like your son that cut those kind of lights because that takes some coordination and reflexes.I'm going racing again in 2 weeks ,I'll see how that goes.Good luck to y'all! you obviously was a good dirt racer too, which tracks did you race at and what years ,I raced out there from 1984 thru 95 and ran outlaw lm and modifieds I also ran a sprint car a few times in roseburg, never drove a midget. I was always intrigued with them but never had the oppurtunity to drive one.Now I'm trying this dragracing deal and I can only dream of lights like your son cuts ,maybe I,ll get lucky and snap one of them things.lol.I've had offers to drive a modified again but I'm resisting the temptation. In 2 weeks I'm gonna go up to Noble OK and run the 1/4 mile see what the lil truck will run in a 1/4.You think I can run a 529 or should I put the 456 in, 2 weeks ago I went to a 567 and its only turning 6000 thru the lights in the 1/8 mile.David

I dont know what kind of RPM you want thru the lights. We have 4:88's and go thru the lights at 57-5800. on a 31" tire.

We raced portland speedway, south sound speedway, sunset speedway. started in 1989 and ran up till last year 09.
won championships 2000,01,02,03, 2004 we won 2 championships 1 in each class plus rookie of the year in midget then midget championship 2004,05,07. we finished 2nd in modifieds in 95,96 at portland and 3rd at south sound 95.

Here is our quickest run to date video.
