M/T front tires

Would the 8ply tire be a better choice than the 4ply on a 3450lbs car?

You need to weigh just the front of your car and get the load rating on the two tires and pick which one fits your application.

For a race car use the 4plys. Almost all of the cars in our class run the MT ET Front which is a 4 ply. And I'm seen some very hard abuse on those tires, never seen a problem with them. The 8plys will be HEAVY!!
