video of my nova dr testing

#1 Post by 1320quick » Tue Oct 16, 2007 3:16 pm

Here is a video from last Saturday when we were doing some drag radial testing. Never got down the track in three passes. This one is the worst. :(

Sorry for the poor video quality, still trying to figure out the best way to get the videos of my new camcorder....

That does look like it was a hairy ride, hard to tell what happened in the video but I saw the tire smoke, that's usually not a good sign!

Looks like you needed the road coarse tires instead of the drag radials.

Wow, looks like a scary ride. Did you end up in the left lane over next to the wall?

What track is that?

that's the same thing that my 315/60 m/t drag radials do. they seem to just snap loose with no warning. i have caltrack mono leaf with strange shocks tried just about everything with not much luck. i can put on a set of 29.5x10.5w slicks and put it on the rear bumper just from the tire change. if you find something please post and i will do the same.

Yea, it was a scary ride for sure. The car crossed the centerline twice and slid/hopped sideways for a second before ending up in the left lane by the guardrail. That track in PMI in Pueblo Colorado. Like cashier, I can put my slicks on, carry the front wheels and go down that track all day long. We will keep working at it and figure out how to make these drag radials work for us.
