I'm Brad, I am from Branson Missouri. I am 28, been married for 6 years and have a two year old boy.
My car is a 67 Camaro RS/SS. All the RS/SS stuff is gone now. I got the car from my dad in 2002. He had owned it seven days short of 30 years when I got it. He had already built it, I just went through and freshened the motor and updated a few things. It had not been worked on since 1989, and it was last painted in 1980. The paint still looked pretty decent, but I wanted to redo it. I painted it back the same color, the only thing that was changed looks-wise the the hood.
Best time so far is 6.61 1/8th, 8.66 1000. That was running bad, and not purging the nitrous. I hope to pick up a tenth ot two when its tuned and the nitrous is purged. Anyway, here are a few pictures.

Quick Update
The 68 Impala was thrashed on for 2 days non-stop with the help from brothers and a few friends. The main issue was whether or not the 10" convertor was useable after the mangled tranny.........after inspection it was deemed damaged, and the only convertor available in short time was my old 4500 8" which we guessed may not help the times with the new combo.
Well we were right as the convertor was indeed too too loose for the new engine, and weight of the car so now the old convertor is being shipped out and a new one being installed until the old is fixed.
Sorry I couldnt have better times posted but we only got 2 passes on the new combo with the 8" and it wasnt pretty seeing the tachometer up passed 7,000 rpms.
More updates later.
Dont know if any of you have met or heard of Justin Martin from Fort Smith who works with Kevin Strobel of Strobel Race cars, but I was able to witness a few of his passes with his new engine in his Nova and let me just say that his new combo even with some tweaking needed netted a 5.37 1/8th time at I believe 134mph on a far from perfect pass.

Nice Camaro's Luis and Brad...
Brian, I don't believe I know Justin Martin. Sounds like a strong Nova though...

Justin,Kevin and a few others local to here race Tulsa often,or used to at least. Kevin has a Marina Blue ChevyII that is I believe a 67,rear chassis'ed and sitting on the ground, and Justins Nova is Black with silver stripes,6" cowl, flat rear wing, and a 540 with 2 dominators on a sheet metal intake, with Lots of spray. Kevin and Justin have raced Tulsa along with a mid 70's Camaro Jerry Treadway owns called "General Transportation",and another local Wesley Ottwell.
Any of those other names ring a bell??
