Here is a scenario....

In the finals, there are 2 1971 Nova's. One of them blue with a black hood and the other red with diamond plate racing stripes. Both on the juice. Both 600+ cubic inch BBC!!

It's going to be close for the June race but we will be giving it everything we got even if I have to take time off of work. No predictions here, kinda superstitious about that stuff.

I think that there is going to be a pretty good turnout at the next mako race. Should be packed full of real street cars.... But you never know.. i figured there would be alot at the Noble race but wasn't as many as I thought.. But still a good turnout being how there were alot of new cars.. I just hope that the new cars will come up here and race at Tulsa and Mokan..

It costs a fortune to tow down to the middle of the state and then go through the licensing B.S. I really don't see Noble ever drawing much in the way of a car count. If they don't advertise the Tulsa race they won't have any spectators to watch the cars. Low crowd equals no money for the promoter. I wish he'd do away with the stupid cooler rule, he's killing his beautiful dragstrip's potential.

Gas is almost $4 a gallon, for the cheap stuff, no telling what it is for Diesel. Anybody who doesn't make this first Tulsa race is probably going to be out of luck. I can't see the crowd coming with the damned gas being so high. Before too long your probably going to see two dragstrips for sale.
