Computer pass time!

#1 Post by supernova » Mon Jun 21, 2010 3:23 pm

It's time for another game of computer pass time.

I'll be taking the car out 7/2/2010 for the first time and thought I would let everyone take a guess at what it will run without nitrous. We'll run the the nitrous on the second time out so it's N/A passes only. 1/8 mile.

Ok here's the set up:

72 Nova
3300 lbs
525ci BBC
4.310 b x 4.500 s
11.5-1 compression
Dart Pro 1 325 cc heads ported
cam motion cam .716-.714 lift 276-283 dur at .050 7-4 swap
powerglide 1.80 low gear
5500 stall
4.30 rear gears
cal tracs
275-60-15 M/T D/R

ask questions if you like.

What will it run N/A in the 1/8 mi.

D/A this time of year is around 3000 ft. average. The heat here is high. Right now it's 101 degrees in the shade on my back porch at 4:30 pm.

gonna say 6.20's to 30's. Only because its gonna be really hot on drag radials and its off the trailer. Once dialed in, much quicker.

Bruce

Are you sure you want to come to Texas? It's HOT!!!!!!!!!

How about a Madland Motorsports t-shirt and sticker. The shirts are black with white lettering. The sticker is white.
