First 10 second pass in the Farmtruck this weekend..

Over the last few years, I have been chipping away at getting in the 10's and this last sat I finally sealed the deal. This is in a 63 Chevy pick up. Every time I go, it get's faster. Best 60' of the night was a 1.598 on motor before the track started going away. This time on motor it only went .12 faster, but this was the first semi clean bottle pass I have made.

I did not get to use the second stage and even had to roll in to the throttle on the first stage as the track was going away. But all in all, I made it..

Congrats !!! Man, that old farm truck is hauling ass !!!!!! Quite an accomplishment !!!!!

Of course, like John sez, video would be good LOL...

I think the guy in the left lane stole the attention of every camera on my 10 second run. On the protree I cut a .419 to his .667, but there was a spectacular nitrous backwire from his car which is really too bad (typically a low 9 second car). Luckily it only cost him $80 for some carb parts and the track did not kill the motor with the fire extinguishers. Everyone I have talked to with a camera on that pass pointed their camera to the fireworks.
