Corrected Altitude

Hello.
I work on a Top Sportsman/Quick 16 car that runs out to National Trail Raceway and the Larer part of NHRA Div. 3. I'm also into computer programming. Heres my question.
Alright. Basically, I'm building a "poor mans weather station" for the PC. So instead of having to shell out almost 700 bucks for one of these bad boys (yes, I've used one, but wasnt that impressed.), you will be able to use my software on your PC or Laptop for a modest fee instead.
I've got most of the code written, but heres where I really need some outside help.
Does anyone know the formula for determining the corrected altitude?
I know this hovers around 3700' to 4000' at 900' Trails.
Search Engines havent helped me much at all.
Thanks in Advance.
