What gear did you go to?

Tall gears have helped my car work on the bottom end but it makes pulling the top end a challenge. Hurts my mph quite a bit I think.

Went to a 3.70 gear. I also replaced the whole 3 rd member with one that would take a lot more abuse. Pro gear, 10 bolt pinion support, bolt through case. Had to shorten the driveshaft some.

Good job supernova. I kinda figured the gear and shock change would help a bunch. The radials are not bad ONCE you get them figured out, but there sure is some hair pulling going on till you do. I think you still need to try a set of 275 hoosiers though, they work better than the mickeys, and you should be able to spray some more to it in the 60'. The red S-10 of bobby flippen has been 1.15 60 foots with them and cal-tracs, and eric kenward's wagon has been 1.14's with them with a SBC, a single stage plate and the stock style 4 link rear in a early 80's malibu wagon. We will see what type of numbers they lay down this weekend in georgia.
I am not really sure what the question is, but I am pretty sure the answer is Big Block.

The club won't let use run the Hoosiers. They say they're wider than the rest of the 275's. I'm running Micky's now, thought about trying the goodyears.

I've seen the wagon run with the sb in it. On he bumper to half track and still hual the mail!!!!!!

The ADRL is here in town this weekend I have some local pro mod friends that are racing in it. Should be a great weekend for racing.

I think even the goodyears would work better than the mickeys, I just know the have a extremely soft sidewall. Yeah, that wagon rolls. I was looking at the qualifing for the south georgia race and there is a ton of cars in the high 4's on 275s, freakin ridiculus.
